HighVolMusic recording artist P.J. Farley (TRIXTER, Ra, KUARANTINE), has teamed up with ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante, ROB ZOMBIE guitarist John 5, and KUARANTINE guitarist Joe McGinness to record a “quarantine” cover version of the KISS song “Mr. Speed”. As reported, Benante uploaded a video of the performance to his YouTube channel, writing in an accompanying message: “This has always been a favorite from the Great ‘Rock and Roll Over’ album. According to Paul: It’s was written about having all the lines and know-how to pick up a woman quickly!

In his post on his Facebook page, P.J. says “So glad I got to use my Goldtop and show off my Gene slippers”.

With his name in the game on 2 major KISS cover projects, P.J. Farley is one of the hardest working guys in the music business. P.J. has also been using his “quarantine” downtime to complete his new solo record and the first for HVM titled ‘Accent the Change’. “I’m working on the last 3 tracks simultaneously, 2 of the tracks are MONSTER songs. This record is shaping up to be bigger and better than I had imagined it would be. It’s fucking serious!” says Farley. ‘Accent The Change’ has been slightly delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic but things are starting to move along and progress once again with a summer release in store.
